There’s a reason the Negroni is considered a classic cocktail and one that every bartender should have in their repertoire, whether you’re a home cocktail connoisseur or a professional mixologist. The Negroni is the simplest of the mixed cocktails, employing a 1:1:1 ratio of booze. Simple, yet, incredibly versatile. It’s basically a doppelganger: it can be served up, on the rocks and even in slightly different ratios. No matter which way, it’s always a hit.

If however you’re looking for something a little on the sweeter side but still on the classic list, how about an The Gimlet!
